Childspace opened its doors 1988, when a passionate educator and loving and devoted mother wanted to provide more for her children and the community of Birkenhead. While Fraser was already attending primary school, his younger brother Morgan was one of the first to reap the benefits of the exceptional centre their mother had created.
Fast-forward 20 years, and despite achieving success in their own fields of design and PR, both Fraser and Morgan had an inherent pull towards teaching. They both completed their Graduate Diploma in Teaching ECE and joined their mother Neena as part of the Childspace teaching team.
10 years later, as Neena approached a well-deserved retirement, and Morgan set his sights on returning to studies, Fraser the current Centre Manager was the prime candidate to ensure the philosophy and magic of Childspace would live on.
January 2016 marked an exciting new chapter in our family’s story, and the legacy of Childspace, as the dynamic husband and wife team of Fraser and Claire took ownership under the name Childspace Preschool. Childspace had truly gone full circle with Fraser the passionate educator, and Claire a loving and devoted mother, determined to provide the most amazing preschool experiences for their own children and community.
